Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, huge troops of baboons, and flocks of flamingos that color the lake pink.

Lake Eyasi is a seasonal shallow salt lake offering a rugged, off-the-beaten-path experience. It is primarily visited for cultural interactions with the Hadzabe bushmen, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa.
