Just the two of you

The world, at its most generous.

There is a particular quiet that comes at the end of a safari day: the fire lit, the plains going gold, nobody wanting anything from you. It is a remarkable place to begin a marriage.

Space, and the absence of a schedule.

A honeymoon safari should not feel like an itinerary being executed. We build in slower mornings, private vehicles so nobody else sets your timetable, and the kind of camps where dinner can happen wherever you feel like having it.

The luxury on a trip like this is not thread count. It is space, silence, and the sense that the day belongs entirely to you two.

Safari, then the sea.

The classic shape is a week on safari followed by a few days on the Indian Ocean: Zanzibar from Tanzania, or the Kenyan coast. It works because it is exactly the right order: the intensity and early mornings first, then nothing at all.

We will happily arrange the whole arc, including the flights between them, so that the transition is seamless and nobody spends their honeymoon in an airport queue.

Straight answers

What people ask us.

How long should a honeymoon safari be?
Five to seven nights on safari is the sweet spot: long enough to settle into it, short enough that the early mornings never become a chore. Add four or five nights on the coast afterwards and you have close to a perfect two weeks.
Should we combine safari with a beach?
Almost everyone does, and we think they are right. Safari first, then the sea. The order matters. Zanzibar pairs naturally with Tanzania; Diani and the Kenyan coast with Kenya.
Do camps do anything special for honeymooners?
They do, and they enjoy it: bush dinners, a private breakfast out on the plains, small touches in the tent. Just tell us, and we will tell them.
